Selling your home in the fall can be a bit more work but just doing a few maintenance jobs and

general upkeep, you will be prepared for fall and winter months to follow. Keeping up with the

leaves and maintaining your yard is a great start. This also gives great curb appeal for any

potential buyers. Mums and marigolds bloom a long time and come in fall colors to give a nice

pop. Adding pumpkins with potted flowers to your entrance is also great idea.

If you have a garden, make sure you clean out your summer plants, keep the fall plants neat and

weeded. Don’t let any vegetation block your windows.

Clean your windows taking in all the natural light in your home, giving it a warm and welcoming

feel. Open your blinds and push back your drapes. Natural light and sunshine in a home is so

welcoming!

Adding fall colors inside helps bring a flow as the potential buyer walks in. Match the outside

colors with throw pillows, blankets, candles, and a centerpiece.

Turn on all your lights giving your home that bright and airy feel. Turn on some soft music that

flows with the mood of your home.

Making sure your fireplace is clean and ready for use is always a great idea and also provides a

piece of mind when it comes to the safety of your home. Fall is a good time to have your HVAC
