Mark has been a plumber for nearly 26 years and owns his own business - Performance Plumbing. I was the one who managed and operated his business along with having my own home-daycare for 15-plus years until we moved here where I started working for the City of Eureka Springs and then went to work in the Carroll County Clerk's office. Mark and I joined the Eureka Springs Fire Department as volunteers on the Grassy Knob department. I am an Emergency Medical Technician and Mark is an Emergency Medical Responder. We both truly enjoy helping others and when we saw the need for volunteers we jumped at the chance to go to school and get the licensing required to join the department. We see it as a way of paying it forward and hope that we can help others during a time of need. In 2016 I decided to make a career change that would allow me more flexibility to visit my granddaughter while still being relevant in the work-force.
